In 1963 Jon Latcham along with his father Lowell started a small printing business in the basement of their White Bear Lake home. At that time, Lowell was also the manager at the White Bear Lake American Legion, and him and Jon would do printing jobs for the local businesses. Many of those early printing jobs were the result of Lowells background working with charities fundraising.
In 1984 the State of Minnesota began regulating lawful gambling and J&L Printing became Three Diamond Corporation. At that time, 3 Diamond consisted of 4 part-time employees; Jon and his wife Bobbie along with their two young children, Karrie and Jay. They worked out of their small garage at their Lino Lakes home.
In 1991, 3 Diamond moved out of their family home and into a small commercial space at 755 East County Road D in Vadnais Heights. This would wind up being the first of 5 moves over the next 32 years to accommodate for the consistent growth of the company.
In 2019, Glen "Spanky" Kuhlman was promoted to President of 3 Diamond after spending 22 years with the company. He has helped guide 3 Diamond through the number of changes that our industry has seen including the smoking ban, electronic pulltabs, the pandemic, and many others.
In 2023, 3 Diamond made our most recent move, and went from leasing space for the last 32 years to purchasing their first building at 8282 Arthur Street NE in Spring Lake Park.
We have grown from a small residential garage to a 32,000 square foot commercial warehouse (renting half of that to another business) but the values of the company remain the same as they were when Jon and Lowell started their printing company over 60 years ago. Customers first, earn business by doing things the right way and not taking short cuts, and provide value through service and experience and knowledge.
Sadly, Jon Latcham passed away on June 19, 2022. Many of our current employees were fortunate enough to work for him for over 20 years. He was along side us as the company grew and as we grew up as people. With many of us starting out when we were young, he put up with us knuckleheads because he saw potential in us. He helped build the culture that we have at 3 Diamond and all of us are grateful for him and the entire Latcham family.

2006: Sold over 100,000 pulltab games in a year for the first time ever
2008: Opened our second satellite office in Duluth
2009: Fourth move 619 West County Road E in Shoreview
2019: Named Spanky Kuhlman President at 3 Diamond
2021: Sold over 200,000 games for the first time ever
2021: March 2021 was the first time we ever sold over 20,000 games in a month
2022: Founder Jon Latcham passes away.
2023: Our final (as of now) move, purchased 8282 Arthur Street NE in Spring Lake Park. A 32,000 square foot commercial space.
2023: Opened our 3rd satellite office in St. Cloud
